The Andhra Pradesh government has issued official orders granting full protocol status to MLC Konidela Nagendra Rao (Naga Babu) for the Etcherla Assembly constituency, marking a key administrative decision aimed at strengthening local governance. As per the government order, Naga Babu has chosen Etcherla under the provision that allows Members of the Legislative Council to select a constituency of focus, entrusting him with an active role in development initiatives and official programs in the region.

According to the guidelines, the MLC will receive protocol and official courtesies equivalent to that of an elected MLA at all government functions held within the constituency. District officials, from the Collector to field-level staff, have been directed to strictly follow the order, with disciplinary action warned in case of non-compliance. The decision is expected to enhance accessibility, coordination, and effective resolution of public issues in Etcherla, contributing to overall constituency development.
